The 3rd plenary meeting of the SmartDataLake project took place during February 13-14 in Lausanne hosted by EPFL. During the first day of the meeting, the partners presented and discussed the progress on the core components of SmartDataLake, including data virtualization, approximate query answering, similarity search, entity resolution, ranking and visual analytics. The second day focused on discussions and demonstrations related to the use cases, involving the applications on portfolio recommendation, production planning and pricing, and investment decision making. The day concluded with the planning of next step and the decision to organize the 4th plenary meeting of the project during May 19-20 in Eindhoven.
